We now own five of the sets &#8211; Intrigue, Seaside, Hinterlands, Dark Ages and Guilds.<\/p>\n<p>These boxes take up a fair bit of space on our shelf!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1802.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-752\" src=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1802.jpg\" alt=\"1802\" width=\"612\" height=\"816\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1802.jpg 612w, https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1802-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Due to the amount of space they take and how much fuss it can be to shuffle around all these boxes when we want to play, I decided to work out an alternative solution for storing all the game components.<\/p>\n<p>Solution? Binders!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1801.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-751\" src=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1801.jpg\" alt=\"1801\" width=\"612\" height=\"816\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1801.jpg 612w, https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1801-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Back in my Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon trading card days, whenever I was in a pinch and needed new storage for cards, my mum would make these sleeves out of ordinary A4 protector sleeves. They wouldn&#8217;t fit the Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon cards perfectly, but they would be good for sticking a bunch of duplicate cards in one slot, which most off-the-shelf card sleeve pages wouldn&#8217;t allow.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple-cards-in-one-slot is exactly what I needed for Dominion, so I decided to make my own sleeves!<\/p>\n<p>To seal the plastic together, I borrowed an old device of my mum&#8217;s &#8211; it&#8217;s a contraption with two heating elements that when pressed down heat plastic between them to melt the plastic and create a seal. It&#8217;s designed to seal up sandwich bags and the like, but also works on other plastics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1805.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-755\" src=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1805.jpg\" alt=\"1805\" width=\"612\" height=\"816\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1805.jpg 612w, https:\/\/ale.chenonetta.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1805-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I measured out the height of each card and made horizontal cuts along the sheet protector on the front of the sleeve. This gave me pockets for the cards. So I got these zip-up binders instead.
